For my late production Model 90 survey, what is the serial number on that rifle? Also, Michael would like to know what the serial number is on the Model 61.

For a "sight" guy, you are acquiring some very nice .22 rim fire rifles. If you get tired of that Model 61 22 Mag, let me now so that we can do some haggling & bartering.

I have done the shop owner some favors (took several high-end antique pistols to shows in Las Vegas, Tulsa & Reno last year... sold most at prices he never dreamed). So it's a "quid-pro-quo" thing.... plus, I bring cash...lots of cash. I've done business at the shop for almost 20 years. Still, it's been an amazing estate that he is selling. I don't know who the person was, but they liked good stuff.

My favorite gun shop came thru again. A 3rd Model 1890 in .22lr and a Model 61 in .22 Mag. This 22 mag is actually nicer than the first one I declined to buy. He said there are a few more rifles & pistols to pick up, but didn’t think I would be interested. I told him to just let me know and I’ll head right down. What a great way to start the weekend!

Bill, two of my children reside in the Woodlands. The last time I visited (last fall), I can attest that the 'beginning and end of jams' is somewhere north of Tomball

I agree, Bill. Congestion is likely at any hour of the day and possible at any other time. It's complicated by folks in throwaway cars with no regard for anyone's safety or traffic laws, let alone common courtesy. All the chaos of a video game without the reset option. I'm generally part of the problem because everyone else knows where they're going. Surface streets aren't much better. 45 between south edge of the metromess and the northern burbs of Houston is just the opposite, left lane is populated by luxucruisers trying to beat their best times and right lane is regulated by autonomous 18-wheelers. I used to shoot in Katy when it was a wide spot in the road surrounded by rice fields.
