George,

It's nice you and the others appreciate the nice 94 from Henry, as sharing it with pictures is the easy part, in all honesty. He's a master at the Art of the Deal, and the mouse crates you offered just didn't do it for him, but as a fellow astute collector, I did notice that he would be interested in a crate, especially full of 1890's, or even an empty 1890 crate, so another hunt begins. He has more 1894's like the one I got from him. He's a very astute collector in his own rights, and can smell a mouse a mile away. LOL!

Kevin, and BRP, I'm glad that you guys can appreciate it for what it is, and not afraid to speak up. Sharing these with fellow, like minded collectors, have a lot to do with why we do this also. We enjoy this hobby and can learn from others just the same.

We can see the good honest wood to metal fit, as we can always look at a good comparable example for reference. Well, this is one! Besides the fact that this rifle deserved it!

Like Henry and I talked about, this one isn't beat up from the T/D lever, where many get scratched up. The Deluxe gorgeous wood is easy on the eyes.

A few pics didn't come out, as couple pics. wouldn't download. Seems a couple from the right side, wouldn't download, after a few tries I moved on. I did try to change some lighting on a few of them.

Enjoy!

You guy's are right, it really is spectacular, and when holding these fine older specimens as some can attest to, they have a very fine sleek feel to them, as not only the fine custom wood on it, but the design itself, has a really light, fine and sleek feel to them.

Being in the T/D Configuration, and the 1/2 Oct. barrel, makes it just the right balance to my liking!

No wonder Al you have pursued these for a long time, as the two on you're table are every bit this quality and special, with detailed Letters that are hard to come by during these early years.

If you've never dealt with Henry Mero, you don't know what you're missing out on with this friendly gentleman, along with his wife Brenda, as I know many here have. With the exchange rate involved and Henry spot on with his evaluations, as a very astute collector, if a person can't trust Henry then maybe get out of collecting! IMO!
Naturally the pictures don't do it any justice, with this time of years, sun glare and such, as the afternoon sun out on the patio would be better, but the schedule won't dictate that. The full Rifle pics had too many shadows.

So trust me when I tell you that Henry put this Rifle well over 90%, at a minimum, and he's absolutely correct. To say the least. With it's few honest handling marks, I feel it's a screamer! Al again I apologize for not carrying it into the OGCA/WACA Show, as I had a few things going on and will try to bring it, down the road, to let you give me you're thoughts on it!
