I do not understand why any business would (by default) refuse to do business with anyone located in (11) states.

Based on the current census data, the total population that is excluded by Guns.com's stated (inane) business policy is;

AK - 738,003

CA - 39,345,844

CT - 3,702,543

WA - 8,074,082

Total excluded = 109,716,683 or in different terms, 31.63% of the entire U.S. Population!

Bingo!  The opening bid on each of these is easily FIVE TIMES what they are actually worth.  Brown guns don’t sell well anymore.
A GOOD auction is one where everything opens at $100 with no reserve and let the dust settle where it may, high or low.
The 1885 also lacks any sights to make even somewhat more attractive and it’s a low wall.

They are very unlikely to find your buried California Compliant firearm page.
As a side note, I am a Washington resident... do you also have a Washington Compliant firearm page ?  Just like California, there are no restrictions on shipping bona fide "Antique" firearms to Washington state residents.

You say this rifle is an antique?  All antiques can be shipped to a Ca. buyers house as far as I know. 
  

Hi Chuck, thanks for pointing that out.  We currently do not ship used guns to California but is something we are working on in the future.  As you know, certain states have more hurdles than others and it makes it difficult for us to fulfill.  As we continue to grow and get more resources and capabilities, we hope to have this feature in place.  Hope that provides you a clearer understanding and we value your feedback!

18.5% check or cash and 23% if paying by CC. They  are both steals compared to Morphy’s 23% for cash or check!

No they did not. Never seen this before. I would find it hard to mistake a musket for a rifle but one thing catches my eye on the letter is that there is no barrel shape listed if they were entering a rifle. A musket is just entered as a musket and caliber, no barrel shape. I think this is a error by the person entering it.

That's what I figured since it's obviously a musket and not a "made up" one.
