I wonder why the difference between Hibid and LA? They are typically the same. The only differences I have found is the BP is always cheaper if the auction has their own site. Like Rock island or Richmond. You can bid for either of those auctions on Proxibid, LA or Hibid but it will cost you 3 to 5% more in BP. 🤷‍♂️

The rifle having a Pre Auction estimate of, $2,000-3,000.00, it sold for a grand. Less than half, and maybe one third of the estimated value that the one listed in their previous auction, so there's deals to be found if you have the patience to deal with they're pictures and sometimes lacking information. IMO!

I understand completely! I think there are some opportunities there but it's the only spectator sport I follow these days.

What is the general consensus as to the prices antique/vintage ammunition brought in this past auction? I was outbid on several lots.  I thought stuff went high…or maybe I’m just out of the loop.
  

Wards must draw a ton of bidders as I didn’t find any good much less great deals. A got a few market rate deals and lost quite a few that I felt the winners overpaid for. The ammo I won was just market and maybe a tad over with the BP. Other stuff was just a laughable premium. A 5 panel Winchester store frame with no signs went for over $1900 with the BP and I bought one in better condition with the signs still in them on Live Auctioneers the next night for $800. They definitely had a lot of Winchester stuff but none of it was cheap or at least the stuff I was watching!

Best I can tell you're ahead of the game in recent weeks so maybe not "winning" anything at this auction isn't a loss. Gonna be some good stuff at Cody.
