After reading all the replies it’s evident I’m not the only person having trouble or annoyed with Ward’s new platform/website. If this is an attempt to make the website more user friendly, it’s a total bust. If it’s an attempt to cut cost, you get what you pay for.

And I couldn’t agree more “Who wants to stay up until 1 to 3am for the last item in the auction to close so every item can then close! I’ve never heard of an entire auction staying open because someone bid on item 1102? Crazy!”

Honestly, us old guys have no chance. Who wants to stay up until 1 to 3am for the last item in the auction to close so every item can then close! I’ve never heard of an entire auction staying open because someone bid on item 1102? Crazy!

The last auction was the first for the new format. There were some serious issues for bidders. I've heard they have been working on it... but I've noticed glitches navigating the current auction. Whoever designed this version "changed" the format in such a way as it isn't friendly / intuitive. If they have the same collapse at the closing this auction, things will get ugly.

I do everything on my cell phone, so maybe it’s harder to navigate with cell but there’s two platforms now(new & old) with old only going to past auctions and new is a different challenge. Just wondering if anyone else experiencing issues?

We've discussed this Auction House, here on the WACA Forum, and I found this video as they're first podcast video, and to help the many Winchester members to understand more about this, and maybe some other Auction Houses, and organizations, that handle many collectors stuff!

So when you're relaxing, and have about an hour to spare, or resting you're legs like I like to do, and over a cup of coffee, try this one out!

Wards has been going downhill in the last three years or so for sure when it comes to listing shot shell boxes. Their website is requesting folks send them shot shell boxes. I've heard enough bad stories from others I won't be consigning to them. They have some very high fees for consigners and that hasn't gone down well at all. Not enough pictures, descriptions far too often are wrong or very thin, return policy is bad. The time to return something doesn't start when you receive the item but at the close of the auction. Right now Richmond Auctions, Greenville, SC is setting records for collectible ammunition, really good folks to work with.

That kind of verbiage is in many auction house's Agreements. Helps them make more money. Especially if the house owns the gun.
