Not to mention the plethora of states who hate the 2nd amendment and are chomping at the bit to shut down someone as big as Guns.com for any reason at all! Common sense my friends, They sell Guns for living how can they be anti 2nd amendment? Next you will tell me the Cattle Ranchers are Anti Beef? Dairy Farmers are anti Milk? If they lose their license they are completely out of business and they have simply had to make a risk vs reward decision as by the way do lots of FFL's as they are far from the only ones who have refused to ship to my C&R. One need only look at the many listings on GB to see a lot of FFL's wont ship to a C&R. I'm no fan of Guns.com but respectfully I think you guys are being too harsh on them. You are missing the point.  Attempting to advertise & sell collectable (Curio & Relic) guns to people on a Collector based website, but then blatantly refusing to do business with a Federally licensed collector is both ignorant and disrespectful.  As stated, it is just as easy to verify a Type 03 license as it is a Type 01, 02, or 06.  If a company that is purportedly in the business of selling firearms is unwilling to learn how to process a valid Federal Firearms License, they should seriously consider if they are in the right business.
Just in case you missed it, we are no longer suffering under "Biden" and his policies.  The current DOJ and U.S. Supreme Court are purposefully eliminating and reversing many of the bogus anti 2nd Amendment policies that the Blue states rammed through in past years.  I choose to view this from a "cup half full" versus a "cup half empty" perspective, and I will encourage you to do the same.

Guns.com is deeply committed to supporting the Second Amendment and the firearms community—it is the foundation of what we do. Our current inability to ship to a C&R FFL is not a policy decision based on C&R licenses or collectors. It is simply an operational limitation. At this time, our system is not set up to differentiate between C&R and standard FFL licenses, so all firearms we ship must be sent to a standard FFL dealer, regardless of a customer’s C&R eligibility.

We understand that this can be particularly frustrating for collectors who have gone through the process of obtaining a C&R license, and we genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding. Expanding our support for C&R transfers is something we have on our radar for the future.

Similarly, the fact that we only began offering suppressors within the last year and a half does not mean we were opposed to suppressors before then. Our product offerings and capabilities continue to evolve as we expand what we can support.

Regarding the advertising and sale of collectible firearms through WACA, I would recommend reaching out to WACA directly, as they are the organization that approved Guns.com to advertise through their platform.

Someone paid a lot of money I suppose at some historical point to secure the name "guns.com" and the way it sits now is really only a good place to buy brand new stuff, if even that. For used or collectibles, it's fraught with issues such as poor descriptions, usually nothing near enough good quality photos, exorbitant pricing, and worst of all for me, no real mechanism for communicating effectively with sellers.

I ran into this a lot when I only had my C&R. The reason given is the ATF doesn’t make available an electronic system to verify C&R licenses. I checked and they are right but the ATF does offer an 800 # to verify. The problem is unless the FFL records that call they won’t have a record later if the ATF has an issue with the sale and denies they verified it. I’m 50/50 on it as under the Biden administration, FFL’s had it tough with the zero tolerance policy he implemented and their lively hood on the line. I did run into one legit time an FFL refused to ship to my C&R and the guy couldn’t have been more apologetic about it and that is FFL’s in New Jersey. The state itself refuses to recognize C&R’s and will shut down the FFL for shipping to them. So my point is, I don’t think Guns.com is anti 2nd amendment. I think they are just scared of the regulatory environment around C&R’s and don’t want to give the next Socialist administration an excuse to shut them down! We all know it’s coming don’t we?
