I don't think that's going to fit in your carry-on bag Ben. That's pretty awesome, is he a pilot or does he just like old planes? I went to an antique aircraft fly-in last weekend and those owners are a lot like Winchester collectors. I now know a lot more about Jacobs radial engines than I did before! Also learned a little about how to start a Piper Cub.

TGCA has a reserved section at the Embassy Suites happy hour Friday night with hors d'oeuvres, I'm usually too busy or worn out to make it but I hear it's good. There's a new restaurant where Hoolihan's used to be, haven't heard anything about them.

I just added a post to a old 94 post about a proofed 73 bolt which kind of ties in with this thread.

By you posting those pictures, it sure looks like I can match up my first picture with you're second picture of the, "T" !

That sure makes a lot more sense to me now. Do we know what those two letters might signify? Another guess on my part would be that an inspectors initials, and now that makes me wonder the time period difference if any between the two different initials. If it helps, the pictures I posted are from September 1875, M-1873, First Model SRC. that has what looks like the, "T", to me now.
