I’ve killed all sorts of big game from grouse to deer, elk grizzly bear and antelope with all of these old guns and that makes the hunt way more special than the animal you’re hunting…

There are guys that shoot highwalls and Sharps repos at the range every week. Mostly 45-70's with 500 grain bullets. They all have some sort of padding. Add on or built into a shooting vest. The 35 Win is just slightly better than the 405.

You can make any case a shot case. Use an over shot card that has some rubber cement on it. Just enough so the shot doesn't fall out.

Hello everyone,
I’m hoping to hear from anyone who has gone through a similar experience, either personally or with a loved one.
My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer about 7 years ago and underwent prostate surgery. Unfortunately, his cancer appeared to be aggressive, and after the surgery, he also had to go through radiation and hormone therapy for some time.
Yesterday, we received some difficult news. We were told that the cancer has returned and that it has now spread to his spine. The doctors found a very small spot and have recommended that he undergo radiation for a few days, followed by hormone therapy. One of my biggest concerns is the hormone therapy. My dad had a very difficult time with the side effects when he was on it previously, and from what I understand, now that the cancer has metastasized, he may need to remain on hormone therapy long-term, possibly for the rest of his life.
For those who have experienced something similar, how has long term hormone therapy affected your quality of life? Were the side effects manageable over time, and did you find ways to cope with them? Are there any other major health issues or long term effects from the medication that we should be aware of? I’m especially heartbroken because my dad had finally decided to retire at the end of this month and was looking forward to enjoying that next chapter of his life. Now, instead of focusing on retirement, he has this difficult situation to face.
I know every case is different, but I would truly appreciate hearing about other people’s experiences with metastatic prostate cancer and long term hormone therapy. Any insight, advice, or encouragement would mean a lot to me and my family.
Thank you.

Tammi, sorry to hear about your Dad's problems. We have had several friends go through prostate cancer and each one went in a different direction. I would suggest that you get at least one more opinion and have an Oncologist answer your questions.

Thank you.
