For those interested in this type of rifle, this is a rare find… it appears to be a first year production Model 67, and in the rarely found 22 WRF Cool

But where?  I don’t see any extra holes drilled & tapped in that rifle?

Its not only mentioned in the description, but the second picture, just ahead of the rear sight, you can see the screws protruding up.

Hi Elliot,

Yes, they were offered with a Winchester No. 5 (5x) or No. 3 (2 3/4 power) scope.  However the one in the auction was probably not factory scoped since the mounting hole spacing appears incorrect for the rear mount and the proof mark is in the wrong location (should be on the side) for a factory scoped 67.

Sorry to start up an old post but I have been searching for a model 67 WRF for my grandfather for quite some time now. Does anyone know someone with one for sale?
