Here is another of my 1894s. I have had this one for awhile, but never took the time to try to get some decent photos.i I am trying to focus on Takedown rifles, so this one will be going up for sale in the future. It will be a VERY nice 94 for someone’s collection b/c it is a special order 94 and in very high condition…and 38-55. This 1894 serialized on March 24, 1905 and features the more scarce round barrel, hard rubber shotgun butt, and "4 cartridge magazine", and the gun letters this way. Overall it is about 95%. Couple extremely light oxidation marks on barrel, and couple wear marks on top left corner of the receiver, couple dings, but this is about as nice as they get up here. Not even any apparent carry wear. If hunted, the person who carried it really took wonderful care of it. With the exception of the NIB pre-64 I have, this is the highest condition Winchester I have. Here are a few photos:

Hope to see this one go to a good home to someone who sure appreciates old world craftsmanship and pride.

That is a beautiful 38-55. You don’t see strong case coloring like that very often, and the finish on the wood looks like it just left the factory.

Thanks Kirk. Yes, you don’t see CC like that up in these parts too often. Most Winchesters that came up here were "work" guns. The wood finish is pretty much 100%. Nice early, pre-proof gun with lots of condition. This rifle would look great on your wall Kirk.

It would! If I didn’t have flat pockets from acquiring that 30 WCF takedown, it would already be on my wall.
