After the upgrade that just happened we lost a couple days of posts. Also private messages lost a couple days. You must of used a old backup when you loaded the new server.

Gentlemen,

I have informed the persons responsible about this issue.  I can not make any promises that we will get a full restoration of the lost posts (several of which were mine).

Bert,

Any PM’s that happened during that time are also gone.

I have an automation that emails me all new posts very soon after they are posted (I don’t like to miss anything!). If anyone has an important or long post that they lost, I may have it and can send you the text so you can repost (or repost it for you). I trash stuff when I read it, but I think most of my trash is still there.

Thanks 1873man and Mike hunter .Present screw is frozen by corrosion,Trying pb blaster and heat and patience now, but that fine thread may mean it is welded with rust. Could leave alone and clean mag tube by removing it.

Gentlemen,

I think you might get better answers to parts and hardware issues in the appropriate forums rather than these administrative forums.

Please reserve this forum for issues, problems and questions about the operation of forum features.

Thank you!

Mike,

These posts about thread size where posted in the other forum but probable disappeared during the upgrade and somehow got reposted here out of sequence if you look at the time of post.
