Why do I have to log in every couple days. It is a hassle , as I have to go back into my email to find the pass word that was alotted to me when mine was rejected a few months ago . I am scared to change it to one I can remember ,in case my settings get all mixed up again.

When I find out I must re-log in,  I have typically finished a post that I cannot post until re logging in , and have to send it as email to myself to save it , because I know the logging in process will delete it, but lost a couple posts before I figured this out.

The re-logging in ? Is it the fear that I may be an imposter or super-spy hacker ?

Phil,

Certain browsers have a feature to save your username/password and auto fills them in. I use Firefox which has this. It is selectable in the Security setting in the Options tab in version 26 of Firefox. It works so well that if I do have to enter it in by hand I have forgot my password.

Phil,

Get a yellow sticky note tab, or something similar, and write the user name and password on it.  Put that on the side of your computer monitor and you will not have to look for an old email with a “foreign” PW in it.  I am assuming that there are no state secrets in any of your private messages on this site so there is no security risk to having it handy.
