WACA 2024 Fundraising Auction Gun

As part of WACA’s 2024 fund raising efforts, Morphy Auctions has graciously offered to feature this unique rifle in their upcoming auction on September 10 – 12, 2024, with 100% of the proceeds going to WACA

WACA, George Dillman of Wyoming Armory Precision Firearms and Mike Hunter of Hunter Restorations have teamed up to restore an original Antique Winchester Model 1876 Deluxe Engraved Rifle with new and beautifully finished fancy American walnut stocks, expertly hand checkered by master engraver Dennis McDonald.

The receiver, lever, hammer, buttplate and forend cap are color case-hardened using the original Winchester bone and charcoal process. The barrel and magazine tube are rust blued just like the originals were. The result is a deluxe rifle replicating the look and feel of the original Winchester Model 1876.
